D’Futura Student Tales’ Exhibition

‘D’Futura Student Tales’ is an exhibition that showcases the work done by First Year (Foundation) Students, from the Maiden batch of NMIMS School of Design. ‘D’Futura’ stands for the Future of Design. As the name suggests, the theme highlights the transitory, collaborative and technology driven nature of the Design practice.

The work displayed in the exhibition ranges from foundational sketch books to hand painted book covers, digitally stylised editorial illustrations to well-crafted branding and identity, detailed descriptive story boards to innovative iconography for an app and 3D typographic models to captivating photojournalism narratives. The exhibition also showcases their design research journeys, product ideations, articulate white papers, blogs and animations created by writing code, presentations depicting their business acumen and 3D models highlighting historical journeys of various interesting objects.

Over all it gives the essence of the first foundation year at NMIMS School of Design and throws light on the futuristic nature of the B.Des. (Humanising Technology) Program.
